Note: A school teacher has to undergo a background check to make sure that he does not have any criminal record, especially that related to sexual offense.  Tutors usually are not subjected to any background check.  Some of them have moral problems.  I have undergone background checks when I taught in US and Hong Kong high schools.  Therefore I have been properly vetted.
