Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) is committed to protecting the privacy of its employees and authorized users. This Privacy Policy explains how the CIM+ (Census Information Manager) application collects, uses, and shares your information.

1. Purpose of the Application

CIM+ is a specialized tool developed for authorized employees of the Punjab Healthcare Commission to manage census data, track field visits, and update Healthcare Establishment (HCE) information.

2. Information We Collect

A. Location Data (Background Tracking)

CRITICAL DISCLOSURE: CIM+ collects precise location data to track your movements during official field visits.

1. Background Collection: This data is collected even when the app is closed or not in use.

2. Purpose: To monitor field activities, ensure the safety of employees, and verify visit reporting in real-time.

3. User Consent: You will be asked for explicit consent before the app starts collecting location data in the background.

B. User Identification

1. We collect your UserID and Username provided by PHC to authenticate your access and attribute your field reports to your profile.

C. Media and Files

1. Camera: The app requests access to your camera to capture photos of Healthcare Establishments (HCEs) during inspections.

2. Storage: The app accesses device storage to save and retrieve inspection reports and photos locally.

D. Calendar Access

1. The app accesses your Calendar to help manage and sync your field visit plans.

3. How We Use Information

1. To verify that inspections are conducted at the correct geographic coordinates.

2. To maintain an accurate database of Healthcare Establishments in Punjab.

3. To provide analytical reports to PHC management regarding field activity.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

1. We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party companies.

2. All data is stored securely on PHC’s private servers.

3. Data may be shared with government authorities only if required by law.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) to transmit all data between your device and our servers. Access to the census data is strictly restricted to authorized PHC personnel.

6. Your Choices

• Location Services: You can enable or disable location services through your device settings; however, disabling background location will limit the app's core functionality for field visits.

• Permissions: You can manage app permissions (Camera, Storage, Calendar) at any time through the Android system settings.
