Phase Zero Apps built the Messages - SMS, Chat Messaging app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Phase Zero Apps at no cost and is intended for use as is. Your privacy is important to Phase Zero Apps ("Phase Zero Apps", "we ","us ", or "our") and we are committed to protecting your privacy. Phase Zero Apps provides this Privacy Policy to help you understand how we collect, use and disclose information, including what you may provide to us or that we obtain from our products and services.

Scope of Policy: This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage. This Policy covers our collection, use, and disclosure of your information through the Applications. It does not cover any collection, use, or disclosure by third parties through any applications, websites, or products that we do not control or own, such as Facebook, or any third-party features made available via the Application.

Agreement to Policy: If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

What information we collect and how we use it:

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained on your device and is not collected by us in any way.

Permission We Use:

• Read phone state : This permission allows to recognize an incoming / outgoing call and to switch between the User System interface and call interface or announces / shows the caller name while some one is calling, you will identify it without looking to your smart phone.

• Read SMS/MMS messages : We do not save or upload your messages. We use this permission to display text messages as we are a default SMS handler app. We also use this permission to read your text messages when you search messages in search bar or announce the sender name while some one is send you a message.

• Send SMS/MMS messages : We do not save or upload your messages. We use this permission to send text messages as we are a default SMS handler app.

• Phone number : This app accesses your phone number to handle group chats, determine which recipient is the user, and manage dual SIM cases to select which SIM to use. But the app never uploads phone number information to any servers, nor share the phone number off the device with any third parties.

• Read your contacts : We use this permission to provide you with the ability to compose messages from your contacts list.

• Notifications: Use this permission to remind you of incoming SMS/MMS messages.

• Take pictures and videos : This permission allows us to use your device’s camera to take photos / videos, so as to send MMS messages.

• Draw over other apps : This permission allows our after-call screens come out when there's an incoming call.

• Control vibration : This permission allows to make the phone vibrate once after users set the device on vibrate, confirming the setting has been turned on.

How we protect your information:

We have implemented commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from accidental loss and from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. However, please note that although we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no app, website, Internet transmission, computer system or wireless connection is completely secure.

How we share your information:

We may retain third parties to perform services on our behalf and we may collaborate with third parties with respect to particular products or services. These third parties may be provided with access to the information needed to perform their functions, as long as they agree to keep the information confidential. We reserve the right to disclose your information as required by law, when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a regulatory requirement, judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us, or to protect the safety, rights.

Third party suppliers:

We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit the Application. These companies may use information about your visits to the Application and other websites that are contained in web cookies in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. Data Retention and Deletion:

In general, we retain the Personal Data we collect for as long as it remains necessary for the purposes set forth above, in compliance with applicable regulations, or until you express your preference to opt-out, where applicable.

Therefore:

• Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between us and you shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.

• Personal Data collected for the purposes of the Company’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. Users may find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by the Company within the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Company.

Below is the detailed data retention policy by us or third-party services:

• Contact information will be deleted within 90 days after you've contacted us.

• Firebase Crashlytics keeps crash stack traces, extracted minidump data, and associated identifiers (including Crashlytics Installation UUIDs and Firebase installation IDs) for 90 days before starting the process of removing it from live and backup systems.

• Firebase Remote Config uses Firebase installation IDs to select configuration values to return to end-user devices. Firebase retains Firebase installation IDs until the Firebase customer makes an API call to delete the ID. After the call, data is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days.

• For other personal information, such as local photos, contacts, SMS & MMS messages, our app only collects this information temporarily to provide the basic SMS handler service based on end-user actions. We will not transfer this data off your device, nor share it with any third parties.

Children’s Privacy :

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to the Privacy Policy :

May, in its sole discretion, change this Privacy Policy from time to time, any and all changes will be reflected here and the date new versions are posted will be stated at the top of this Privacy Policy, so please review it periodically.

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:- To personalize user’s experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.- Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.
