About Prof. Naglaa Gamil Shehab
With over three decades of academic and research excellence, Prof. Naglaa has made remarkable contributions to the field of natural products, pharmacognosy, and drug delivery systems. She holds a PhD in Pharmacognosy from Cairo University and has served in leadership roles including Chief Academic Officer and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls.
Her innovative spirit is evident through her development of the first course in the Arab region on “Natural Medicines, Safety, and Efficacy”, focusing on drug–herb interactions and quality control of supplements. A member of the American Society of Pharmacognosy, she has published over 40 impactful scientific papers and earned multiple international research awards from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Amsterdam.
