Usage Instructions
Step 1: Select a Camera
• In the addon panel, choose a camera to animate.
Step 2: Draw an Orbit Path
• Sketch the general movement path for your camera.
• Adjust the path until you’re satisfied with its motion.
Step 3: Attach the Camera to the Orbit
• Click “Finish Orbit” to link the camera to the drawn motion path.
Step 4: Choose a Target for the Camera
1. Target is a Mesh:
• The camera follows the orbit while always focusing on the object’s geometric center.
• This eliminates issues caused by differences between the object origin and geometry center.
2. Target is the Orbit Path:
• The camera moves along the orbit while allowing manual control of its direction.
• Adjust the camera’s direction using the sliders:
• Camera Position – Moves the camera along the orbit.
• Camera Rotation – Controls the viewing angle.
• Use CamDirection for precise direction adjustments.
3. Target is a Mesh with “Along Object” Enabled:
• The camera follows the orbit while staying aligned with the object’s surface.
• This is ideal for shots that require smooth surface tracking.
Step 5: Animate with Keyframes
• Move the timeline to a desired frame.
• Adjust the camera position and direction.
• Click Set Keyframe to save its state.
• To remove an unwanted keyframe, select it and click Clear Keyframe.
