Session structure

Below is a provisional plan for the session structures. They will be finalized together with the schedule.

Thematic sessions (110 mins)

Each of our four thematic sessions focuses on a specific core concept and is structured as follows to allow for both individual presentations and collective dialogue:

• Presentations (60 mins): Three invited speakers will deliver 20 minute presentations back-to-back.

• Break (10 mins): A short intermission to stretch and grab refreshments.

• Panel & Floor Discussion (40 mins): A combined session featuring a moderated panel discussion among the speakers, followed by an open Q&A with the audience.

Round table session "Metaphilosophy of AI: central questions and methodologies" (110 mins)

Our special roundtable session is designed as a dynamic, forward-looking forum focused on mapping out the future of the discipline:

• Lightning Talks (20 mins): Four speakers will deliver short, high-impact 5-minute opening remarks setting out their visions for the field.

• Grouping (10 mins): Quick break while the room divides into smaller breakout groups.

• Small Group Discussion (40 mins): Attendees and speakers split into small groups to brainstorm specific sub-topics (e.g., Group 1: New Methodologies; Group 2: Neglected Topics; Group 3: Interdisciplinary Collaboration).

• Floor Discussion (40 mins): An extended, interactive open-floor debate and panel discussion addressing central methodologies and future research agendas.
