This Chrome extension (“Extension”) analyzes code diffs from Phabricator and provides AI-generated review suggestions using Google Gemini.
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains exactly what data is collected, how it is used, and how we ensure your data remains secure.
This Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or sensitive user data.
The Extension only accesses the following, and only when you press the “Review” button:
Used solely to verify that you are on a valid Phabricator diff page.
Fetched locally from the currently open Phabricator page to be reviewed by Gemini.
You manually enter your Gemini API key.
It is stored only in chrome.storage.local on your device.
We do not have access to your API key.
This extension does NOT:
Collect any personal info
Store data on external servers
Read browsing history
Track user activity
Sell or share information with third parties
Use analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising services
No data ever leaves your device except the diff text you explicitly send to Gemini for AI review.
When you click “Review”:
The extension reads the diff text on the current page.
It sends that text directly to Google Gemini API using your own API key.
The Gemini response is displayed in the extension's side panel.
We do not process or store your data on any server we own.
All communication happens between your browser and Google Gemini.
We do not intercept or log any requests.
The only data stored locally is:
Your Gemini API key (chrome.storage.local)
You may delete it anytime by removing it inside the extension UI or uninstalling the extension.
The extension requests minimal Chrome permissions:
Used solely to read the diff from the currently active tab.
Used only to store your Gemini API key locally.
No other permissions are required.
The extension interacts only with:
Google Gemini API
(User-initiated request to process the diff)
Google's use of your data is governed by their privacy policy.
We do not integrate with any other third-party services.
This extension is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
