PGTC 2026 will take place in the Alan Turing Building (not to be confused with various other 'Turing' locations around Manchester)
A map of university facilities can be found here.
If arriving by train, there are several stations you can arrive at:
Oxford Road and Piccadilly stations are both about a 20 minute walk/bus journey away from the department and hotel. Trams from Picadilly to Shudehill provide a direct line to the hotel.
Victoria station is closer to the hotel, but a 35 minute walk from the department - the 41 bus (amongst others) may be preferable
The trams and buses in Manchester operate under the Bee Network.
Conference accommodation is provided at Goadsby Street Holiday Inn, M4 5JY.
Check-in: from 15:00, Monday 29th June.
Check-out: before 11:00 on Friday 3rd July. A secure place to leave bags will be provided during the Friday talks.
Breakfast is included!
The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the department, but various buses are available from the nearby Shudehill and Piccadilly Gardens interchanges.
If you requested accommodation through the registration form and have paid the corresponding fees, you should also have received this information by email. If you believe you have not received this email in error, reach out as soon as possible.
