10:30 - 10:45 Morning Break
10:45 - 11:45 Morning Committee Session: Introduction to MUN and Conference Procedure; Game Breaks at Chair's Discretion
11:45 - 12:35 Lunch
12:35 - 1:40 Afternoon Committee Session: Introduction to Debate with engaging debate prompts
1:40 - 3:00 Group Specialized Session
3:00 - 3:15 Parent Pick Up
Day 2 – Strategy, Research, and Resolution Writing
Introduction to researching global issues
Learn how Model UN resolutions are structured
Writing clauses and drafting solutions to global problems
Building alliances and working in diplomatic groups
Negotiation and debate strategy workshops
Intermediate Model UN simulation
Goal: Students learn how to collaborate, write resolutions, and defend their ideas in debate.
Day 3 – Full Model UN Conference
Formal General Assembly session with roll call
Opening speeches from country delegations
Resolution drafting, lobbying, and amendments
Structured debate and voting procedures
Full Model UN General Assembly simulation
Awards ceremony and closing celebration lunch (Costco pizza)
Goal: Students experience a full Model UN conference and apply the skills they learned throughout the camp.
Note: Students will be provided several breaks throughout the camp day to play outside, eat their snacks, and take a constructive brain break. The camp will not provide food, and all students are encouraged to bring a packed lunch. Please contact us if you need financial assistance in providing food.
