This School year of 2025-2026 Commemorates the 40th year of PGHS Ballroom. It is the longest, continuous High School Ballroom program in the state of Utah and probably the US. To celebrate this accomplishment and to thank all those who have left a legacy for these many years we would like to invite all who would like to join us for an alumni dance during this year’s End of Year Concert on May 8th & 9th, 2026. We will also have a social gathering to get together and catch up with those you danced with on Saturday May 9th from 3:30-5:00 pm before the concert that night.
As we honor all the coaches who have given so much to make this program be successful and kept it going, we want to thank: Elaine Hansen, Elaine Grenko, John and Julie Peterson, Sam Fisher, Holly Ann Simkaitis, Aimee and Alan Kennington, Stephanie McAllister, and Tiffanie Harding. We hope that they will also be available to come and say hello.
We will put a simple routine together and send it out to learn and as we get closer, hold a couple of practices for those who are close and able to come. We would love to have you dance both or even just one night if you can. We would love to fill the floor with many of you, the ones that gave the students today the opportunity they have to dance.
I would also love to collect any pictures from all the eras to put a slideshow together. So dust off those pics and send them my way! I will send out a link to post pictures shortly.
Please feel free to pass this along to any alumni as I don’t have 40 yrs of contacts but would love to let everyone know!
Thanks, and I can’t wait to see you in May!!!!
