Prince George's County Municipal Association

Welcome to the website of the Prince George’s County Municipal Association! We are the membership organization for the 27 municipalities of Prince George’s County, Maryland, and offer opportunities for networking and leadership development, and act as the voice of our municipal leaders with the Prince George’s County Council and County Executive and the Maryland General Assembly.

From the Elections Committee

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mayor Tracy Gant @

During our nomination process, we did not receive any candidates for the position of Secretary.  Our Bylaws require the PGCMA Board to be made up of the Executive Board (President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer) and seven (7) at large members.  Therefore, during the election process, on Election Runner, we will accept a WRITE IN for that position.  You may nominate any PGCMA member at that time, the individual with the highest number of votes, and accepts the position, will be our Secretary for 2024-25.

To ensure we have the correct voters updated, we will need the email address for this year’s designated voter.  The designated voter is not necessarily the Mayor as in years past, but is suggested to be the person who regularly attends or is most connected to PGCMA.  Please submit the NAME, TITLE, MUNICIPALITY, EMAIL ADDRESS of Designated Voter before Friday, May 10, 2024.  Also, on Election Runner, you will have the opportunity to vote on two bylaw recommendations.

Voting will open Sunday, May 19 at 12AM and close at 11:59 PM, Monday, May 20, 2024.
