PFX Player ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be accessed, processed, collected, or shared when you use the PFX Player mobile application, website, and related services.
PFX Player is developed and operated by BT Play.
PFX Player may request permission to access video files stored on your device so that it can display and play those videos.
Your local video files are processed on your device. PFX Player does not upload your local videos to our servers simply because you grant the app permission to access them.
Depending on your Android version, the app may request media or video-related permissions required to discover and play videos stored on your device.
PFX Player may allow videos to be opened through supported links or secure video identifiers.
When you open a supported online video, information such as the video identifier, network request information, and security verification data may be processed by our servers and service providers to authenticate the request and deliver the requested video.
PFX Player may display advertisements using Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Google's advertising services may automatically process information such as:
IP address and approximate location derived from it
Advertising or device identifiers
App interactions
Ad interactions
Diagnostic and performance information
Device and account-related identifiers where applicable
This information may be used by Google for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and measurement purposes.
Where required by applicable privacy laws, PFX Player may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request or manage advertising consent.
PFX Player may use the Google Play Install Referrer API, including to support app links and deferred navigation after installation.
The Install Referrer API may provide information such as:
Install referral information
Referral click timestamp
App installation timestamp
App version at first installation
This information is used to determine how the app was installed or to complete an action that caused the user to install PFX Player, such as opening an intended video after installation.
PFX Player may use the Google Play Integrity API to help verify that the application is genuine, installed through an authorized source, and running in an acceptable device environment.
Security information and integrity tokens may be processed by Google and our backend systems for purposes including:
Preventing abuse
Protecting secure video access
Detecting unauthorized or modified applications
Reducing fraudulent access
Protecting our services and content
We do not use Play Integrity information to identify you personally for advertising purposes.
Online video content provided through PFX Player may be delivered using bunny.net / Bunny Stream.
When streaming a video, bunny.net may process technical information required to provide and optimize video delivery. This can include network information, request information, approximate geographic information derived from IP addresses, playback quality information, buffering information, errors, and other technical performance data.
These services help us securely and efficiently deliver video content.
PFX Player may use Cloudflare and related infrastructure for services such as:
Website hosting
API delivery
Security
Caching
Traffic protection
Performance optimization
Hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process technical request information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, browser or device information, and security-related logs.
PFX Player does not require users to provide personal information such as their name, home address, phone number, or personal profile information merely to use the standard video player functionality.
We do not intentionally upload or store the user's local video library on our servers.
However, third-party services integrated into PFX Player may process technical information as described in this Privacy Policy and under their own privacy policies.
Information processed through PFX Player and its service providers may be used to:

Local videos remain on the user's device unless the user independently moves, uploads, or shares them.
We do not intentionally retain copies of local videos on PFX Player servers.
Technical, security, advertising, streaming, CDN, and request information may be retained by our service providers according to their respective retention policies and our service configuration.
We aim to retain information under our control only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, operation, legal compliance, and service delivery.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by PFX Player.
Network communications involving our supported online services are intended to use secure HTTPS/TLS connections.
However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Depending on your device, region, and applicable law, you may be able to:
Grant or revoke media permissions through Android Settings
Reset or delete your advertising ID through Android or Google settings
Manage advertising and privacy choices through consent interfaces where available
Stop using the app or uninstall it at any time
Revoking certain permissions may prevent some PFX Player features from working correctly.
PFX Player is not specifically designed or directed toward children under the age required for independent consent under applicable law.
We do not knowingly request children to provide personal information directly to us.

PFX Player may open or play content provided through external links or services.
