10. REMIDA:  The R.E.M.I.D.A. project intends to contribute to countering the problem of social exclusion of over-45 disadvantaged adults, in line with the actions implemented by Member States. Unemployment in the more adult age group risks to become crystallized over time, also because it often concerns poorly-educated workers, with low qualifications or with out-of-date qualifications and skills, immigrants or ex-prisoners. Therefore, the actions supporting the social inclusion of the over 45 adults at risk are fundamental. (Role: Researcher for Daissy research group).

12.  MUSA: “Mu.SA: Museum Sector Alliance. ERASMUS+ Sector Skills Alliances. Project MUSA aims to address the increasing disconnection between formal education and training and the world of work because of the emergence of new job roles due to the quickening pace of the adoption of ICT in the museum sector. 13. KUTEL is a three-year project co-funded by the European Commission in the framework of the ERASMUS Plus Programme, Key Action 2: Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices. The Project is carried out under the centralized activity “Capacity-building in the Field of Higher Education” /CBHE/- 2018. The Project Consortium brings together 14 organizations: four are from European countries – Italy, Bulgaria, Finland and Greece – and ten are from a Central Asian country, namely Kazakhstan. 14. SALE: Erasmus+ Collaborative Partnership - Project Reference Number: 2014-1-AT01-KA202-000953. SALE aims at developing an interactive training course for unemployed higher education graduates. Participants will learn which tools are the most relevant to use in order to find a job online and how their individual skills need to be presented to be attractive for possible employers. 18. TEI Thessaly Library new IT System. The project includes the development  of the new TEI Thessaly IT system, the installation of Institutional Repository and the installation of an RFID system for book management. 19. MYCOTICON Project. Development of a training material and of an e-learning system for identifying and collecting wild edible mushrooms. 20. ONSOCIAL - Archimedes III project. The objective of the ONSOCIAL project (Knowledge management for software project management using ontologies and social networks) is to propose and establish methods for utilizing social capital available in today’s’ social networks into the software project management process. 22. ASPIRE Tempus IV Joint Project. The ASPIRE Project aims to enable Lebanese, Jordanian and Palestinian at Occupied Territories universities to economic development and regeneration by modernising their ‘entrepreneurship’ curricula, developing and implementing a sustainable multi-level ‘entrepreneurship education’ programme, building staff capacity and also enhancing the awareness of the Bologna process. 26.    DIEPTELO Project. Human network for the promotion of Software Engineering  and of Software Project management in Greece. The project was funded by the 3rd Community Support Framework and awarded by the Secretariat General for Research and Technology. 27.  PleaseEnter. A project for developing educational material, organising courses on entrepreneurship and offering consultancy to students for setting up new companies. 1. CORDIS - CORDIS is the largest R&D information dissemination portal in Europe. It offers access to a wide range of information on EU research and innovation development activities with a timely and comprehensive coverage in 5 languages: English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. The site has around 1.000.000 hits per day from a wide user community, which includes researchers, citizens and businesses. (Role: Technical Manager)

2. EPSS – (Electronic Proposal Submission System). Development of the system for the electronic submission of proposals for research projects to be funded by the 6th Framework Programme (FP6) of European Commission. (Role: Project Manager)

3. CPM – (Contract and Project Management System). IT system for the management of projects funded by the 6th Framework Programme (FP6) of European Commission. (Role: Project Manager)

4. SYMMETRY – Development of the ERP system for the monitoring and management of the Programmes of Directorate General Education and Culture of CEC. More specifically SYMMETRY will be used for the management of SOCRATES, YOUTH, LEONARDO, CULTURE and MEDIA programmes. (Role: Project Manager)

5. EUDOR – System provision, software development and operation of the archive and dissemination system for European Legislation (EUDOR). Size of archive is more than 700 GB. Orders are delivered automatically using web technology (CEC – OPOCE, Luxembourg). (Role: Project Manager)

6. OPOCE DW– Software development of the data warehouse system of OPOCE (European Publication Office), (CEC – OPOCE, Luxembourg). (Role: Project Manager)

7. EIC – Web applications and client/server applications development for the Euro Info Centre Network. It includes web hosting, information dissemination etc. (CEC- DG Enterprise, Brussels). (Role: Account Manager and Technical Team Leader from Jan 1997 to June 1998)

9. EURATOM MIS – Inspection planning and inspection reporting workflow system for inspectors of nuclear sites (CEC- EURATOM, Luxembourg). (Role: Account Manager)

10. Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) MIS - Inspection planning and inspection reporting workflow system for inspectors of food and veterinary sites. Development of document archive system and of web interfaces for travelling inspectors  (CEC, FVO, Dublin). (Role: Project Manager)

15. WINSTAR – Outsourcing of billing services for WINSTAR Network Operator for five countries. (Role: Account Manager)

16. COMEXT - Data warehouse system for external trade of EU. More than 200 GB database (CEC- EUROSTAT, Luxembourg). (Role: Project Manager, Account Manager)

17. KNEIP Communication – Publication management of investment fund prices. (Role: Account Manager)

18. STATEL – Large File Transfer Application to be used between European Statistical Offices for data exchange (CEC- EUROSTAT, Luxembourg). (Role: Account Manager)

The following projects were executed at Intrasoft S.A. (Athens, GR) during the period starting from July 1991  up to March 1995.

1. REALISE project . The objective of REALISE was to improve “MATRA CAP Systemes” and “Hachette Livre” business through radical reengineering. My work in this project was project management and  the analysis of existing infrastructure, designing of the new MATRA’s information system, integration of existing systems with document management and workflow products. as well as the management of the project. 2. Quality engineer in the quality assurance unit of the company. Writer of development procedures, guidelines and best practices used for object-oriented development. (Role: Software Quality engineer)

3. FAPSY. Development of a database-independent retrieval system for economic data. (Role: Project Manager)

4. BOOST: Responsible for the development of ORIENT I-CASE tool. ORIENT was an integrated CASE tool, which covered all phases of software development. (Role: Software Engineer)

5. NETVIEW: Development of Netview, network management product of IBM. (Role: Software Engineer)

6. COMPLEMENT: Development of a CASE tool for capturing non-functional requirements of software systems. (Role: Software Engineer)

7. ARISE: Development of an environment for telecom services. (Role: Software Engineer)

8. ORAMA: Development of a document archiving system. (Role: Software Engineer)

The following project was executed at the Pension Fund of the Greek Army (Athens, GR) during the period starting from January 1996 up to September 1996.

1. System administrator in the MIS department. Responsibilities included were administration of information system, calculation on pensions, and development of supplementary/auxiliary applications.
