I plan on creating weekly newsletters to be sent out via talking points, email, and/or in students folders.
Initiating contact with families is an important step in a students learning so that the students may continue to grow outside of the classroom. In attempting to involve and inform student families, this goal can be achieved!

Having a set procedure androutine to follow throughout the day can maximize instructional time and minimize the opportunity for disruptions and unwanted behaviors!
Differentiation
Differentiation
In my classroom I will differentiate by modifying and adjusting assignments according to my students needs. Every student learns in a different way and has a different background. By tailoring assignments and lessons to my students, I can ensure that all of my students have the stepping stones they need to reach our learning goals!

In my classroom I want to have my students in various groups throughout the day. This will help me to service my students as needed and create mixed level groups where my students are assisted by their peers as well as myself. My classroom layout promotes teamwork, student engagement, and flexible arrangements that can be adjusted to fit the needs of my students.
