About PEW

The Reserach Institute for Empirical Research in Organizational Economics (EOE), Waseda University, organizes the Personnel Economics Workshop (PEW), a semiar series on theoretical and empirical research in Personnel and Organizational Economics.

PEW is basically held once a month on the fourth Saturday at 3:00 p.m. (or at the convenience of the presenter).

The workshop consists of a research presentation by a graduate student or others (1 hour) and a research report by a speaker (1.5 hours).

PEW is chaired by Hideo Owan, Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University, and Kohei Takahashi, Research Associate at the School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University.

Our workshops are open to researchers and students who are interested in personnel, organizational, and labor economics, or any other topics related to human capital in general.
