Petya Evtimova-Ivanova, MFA was born in Bulgaria, Europe. In 1999 she graduated from the University of Veliko Tarnovo with a master’s degree in fine arts.
After her graduation she participated in more than fifty national and international group exhibitions. Her art works belong to private and government collections in Europe and USA.
She has held solo exhibitions in Europe and in the United States of America.
Although her primary medium is oil, recent years have witnessed her artistic exploration, combining this classical medium with other media and diverse surfaces, enabling her to convey her ideas in intricate and multifaceted ways. Her latest creations serve as a tribute to the celebration of the beauty and harmony inherent in women's identities, drawing inspiration from symbols deeply rooted in native art, myths, and traditions from her homeland.
