Our Story
Pettown was founded in 2020 by Hannah Polk. It was originally called, "Pet Sitter's Business," but later on changed to Pettown. Hannah started it as a way to hang out with dogs and other animals because their family wasn't ready for a full time pet except fish. All the kids in our group have had experience with animals and we all know how to care for them. Pets are on the kids at Pettown's favorite things list.
We love to hang out with animals and play with them. (No, we don't easily get bored of fetch!) If you need dog walking, training or pet sitting, come to us! We are happy to help!
At Pettown, our mission is to make pets happy and healthy. Pets and their owners deserve good lives with each other, and we're here to make that happen.

At Pettown, safety, kindness, and giving pets what they need are our top priorities. We don't mind if your dog needs to walk and extra mile or two–we're all in. It doesn't matter if your fish needs medicine or a water test while you're away, we've had experience. We don't mind if your cat needs excersice or playtime, such as playing laser or toy mouse. It's fun to hang out with your pets, and it feels even better to give them what they need!

Hannah Polk (they/them) founded Pettown in 2021 so they could spend more time with pets. Their family wasn't ready for any bigger pets, like dogs or cats, so they decided to start a pet sitting business. They're amazed to see how far Pettown has come from a thought in their head to reality. They live in Brookline, MA, with their parents, brother and betta fish, Kevin.
They aren't actually a cat! :3
