Petr Štola was born in 1944. Petr inherited love for nature as a young boy from his granddad, the county forester in Austria. That love later led to nature photography. He is the co-founder of KFP-The Club of Nature Photographers. As the first KFP´s Vice-president he established KFP became a member of IWFP-The International Federation of Wildlife Photographers in Chantilly, France, 1991. He served for a term of 4 years as IFWP´s Vice-president from 1998 to 2002. He contemplates nature as the complex theme and takes pictures in the Czech Republic and abroad as well. The former in particular environs of Prague, Bělá p. Bezdězem, Zábřeh, and Jeseniky mountains area, the later in Europeans countries, Canada and USA-Alaska. He takes part in exhibitions and audio-video presentations at home and abroad.

Petr Štola se narodil 1944. Lásku k přírodě dostal do vínku od svého děda, který sloužil jako hraběcí lesník v rakouském Štýrsku. Láska k přírodě později přerostla ve fotografování přírody. Je spolu zakládajícím členem KFP - Klub fotografů přírody a byl zvolen prvním víceprezidentem. V této funkci organizoval vstup KFP do mezinárodní organizace fotografů přírody IFWP v roce 1991 na kongresu v Chantilly ve Francii. Od 1998 vykonával po 4 roky funkci viceprezidenta IFWP. Fotografuje přírodu jako celek v Česku zejména v okolí Prahy, Bělé pod Bezdězem, Zábřežska a oblasti Jeseníků. V zahraniči v evropských státech, Kanadě a USA-Aljaška. Zúčastňuje se fotografických výstav, soutěží a audio-video prezentací doma i v zahraniči.
