Goals of the Petroleum Culture Platform

1- The Petroleum Culture Platform launched by the Ministry of Oil aims to enhance public understanding of the oil and gas industry, whether from a technical, economic or environmental perspective in the State of Kuwait, the Gulf States, the region and the world. 

2- The platform seeks to spread awareness by providing accurate and comprehensive information about the oil and gas industry, including the stages of production and refining, in addition to the importance of the oil sector in the national economy and the political leadership’s keenness to develop and grow it as one of the most important sources of national income. 

3- The platform provides educational and training resources for those interested in working in the oil sector, helping them understand the history of the emergence of the oil industry in Kuwait, the region and the world, its development over time, and the scientific, technical and economic foundations of this industry. 

The Ministry of Oil, as part of its efforts and mission to spread petroleum culture among the younger generation, has made sure that the Petroleum Culture Platform is a reliable reference and source of inspiration for future generations to understand the importance of the oil and gas sector and how to interact with it in a responsible and sustainable manner.
