vetMed Tracker ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile application that helps pet owners track their pets' medications, reminders, and health information. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account.
Pet Information: Pet names, species, breeds, dates of birth, weight, health notes, and photos that you enter into the app.
Medication Information: Medication names, dosages, frequencies, schedules, prescribing veterinarians, and refill tracking data that you enter into the app.
Pet Photos: Photos you take or select are stored locally on your device.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide the app's functionality:
To authenticate your account and keep your data private
To store and display your pet and medication records
To send medication reminder notifications on your device
To enable data export features
Data Storage
Your account and pet/medication data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Pet photos are stored locally on your device. Your data is associated with your Google account and is only accessible to you.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only shared with:
Google Firebase: For secure cloud storage and authentication
Google Sign-In: For account authentication
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained as long as you maintain an active account. You can delete individual pets and medications within the app at any time. To request complete deletion of all your data, contact us at the email below.
Children's Privacy
VetMed Tracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Firebase security rules to protect your data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes through the app.
