Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc.

Petersburg, Texas was founded as a post office in 1891 as ranches were being broken up and pioneers came into the Panhandle. From humble beginnings, our small municipality slowly flourished into the charming town we know today. To strengthen, support, and advance our town and its agricultural base, the Chamber of Commerce exists to promote and unify city commerce to affect positive change throughout our community.

As the primary business owners who serve Petersburg and the surrounding area, we are committed to improving the community, serving not only the townspeople but also the farm families in a 20-mile radius.  Our members realize that when one prospers everyone prospers. Presently we have about 20 member businesses.
