About

Peter Beaver (he/they) is an artist-mathematician based in Amherst, MA. He creates abstract paintings and drawings (and the occasional sculpture); often from memory and coated in emotions. Their body of work explores themes of dialectics, transgender identity, labor, and reality. Peter's work leaves the viewer in a space that is fluid and sometimes intense, but ultimately familiar. 

Pete is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and visual arts at Hampshire College.
