Peter A. Derow is a seasoned corporate director and advisor with over 35 years of experience in media, publishing, and technology. He has held key leadership roles, including President of Newsweek, Inc. and CBS Publishing, and CEO of Institutional Investor, a subsidiary of Capital Cities/ABC (later acquired by The Walt Disney Company). Peter also co-founded Prodigy, one of the first online platforms for communication and commerce.
Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Compensation Committee at Publishers Clearing House and is a member of the Advisory Board of JEGI CLARITY, an investment bank specializing in media and technology. Peter has been a director for numerous companies, including The Motley Fool, DICE, and Argus Research.
An avid rower, Peter competes as a member of the New Haven Rowing Club and the Palm Beach Rowing Association. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
