Studying Actuarial Science at the University of Lausanne (HEC Lausanne)

We offer a full-time 2-year master program in "Actuarial Science", accredited by the Swiss Actuarial Society. The program covers basics in Statistics/Probability/Programming and courses in all areas of insurance (life, non-life, pension, actuarial data science, insurance economics). We have strong ties to the insurance industry by guest lectures and the possibility to do an internship thesis.

PhD / Postdoc positions

We regularly offer PhD and PostDoc positions, see the members of the department. Possible areas are Life and Pension Insurance, Non-Life Insurance, Actuarial Data Science, Insurance Economics and Probability / Risk Management.

Teaching will be in our bachelor program or our full-time master program in "Actuarial Science".
