Pets Care is designed to work primarily offline on your device. We do not operate any backend server, user account system, or cloud storage for your personal data.
All information entered in the App is stored locally on your device.
The App may store the following pet-related information:
Pet name
Species (Dog, Cat, Rabbit, Bird, Fish, Other)
Breed
Date of birth
Weight
Gender
Notes and descriptions (including allergies, medical conditions, personality traits)
Pet photos
The App may store:
Medicine records
Vaccination records
Veterinary visit details
Medical notes, dates, and related reminders
The App stores reminder-related data such as:
Reminder titles
Categories (Feeding, Medicine, Vaccine, Vet Clinic, Grooming, Exercise, Other)
Scheduled date and time
Repeat settings (Once, Daily, Weekly)
Snooze interval and repeat count
Alarm sound selection
Reminder status (active, inactive, completed)

Whether the initial onboarding process has been completed
All information stored in the App is used strictly for functionality purposes only. We do not use your data for analytics, advertising, or profiling.

Create and manage pet profiles
Schedule and display reminders and alarms
Store medical and vaccination records
Display pet-related information inside the App
Play alarm sounds and notifications
Apply user-selected settings and preferences
Improve in-app user experience and functionality
All data is stored locally on your device using Hive (local database)
Photos are saved in your device’s private application storage
No cloud storage or external server is used
No data is intentionally transmitted over the internet
No remote backup or syncing is performed
Data security depends on your device’s security. We strongly recommend using device-level protection such as PIN, password, fingerprint, or face unlock.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data may be permanently removed.
The App may request the following permissions only for core functionality:
Camera: To capture pet profile photos
Storage / Media Access: To select images from device gallery
Audio Access: To select custom alarm sounds
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): To display reminders and alerts
Exact Alarm (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): To trigger reminders at precise times
Wake Lock: To ensure alarms function during sleep mode
Boot Completed: To restore alarms after device restart
Vibration: To provide vibration alerts for reminders
Foreground Service: To ensure alarm playback and notifications during active alerts
All permissions are used only for app functionality.
Pets Care does not:
Sell user data
Share data with third parties
Use analytics or tracking tools
Integrate advertising networks
Transmit personal data externally
All data remains strictly on your device.
The App uses the following libraries solely for local functionality:
Hive (local database)
flutter_local_notifications (notifications)
audioplayers / just_audio (audio playback)
image_picker (image selection)
file_picker (file selection)
path_provider (file storage access)
pdf / printing (report generation)
timezone (scheduling support)
uuid (ID generation)
intl (date formatting)
permission_handler (permission handling)
None of these libraries collect or transmit user data.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data by keeping it stored locally within your device. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security as it depends on your device’s protection mechanisms.
The App does not collect any personal information from users of any age, including children under 13. Since all data is stored locally, there is no external data collection or sharing.
You have full control over your data:
View all stored information inside the App
Edit or update pet details anytime
Delete individual records or all app data
Export data (if supported via PDF reports)
Manage or revoke permissions via device settings
Disabling permissions may affect certain features of the App.
All data remains on your device until:
You manually delete it
You uninstall the App
You clear app storage from device settings
We do not retain any data externally.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
