PetalPerfect ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the PetalPerfect mobile application (the "App").
We do not require you to create an account or provide traditional personal identifiers (like your name or email) to use the core features of the App. However, certain tokens or identifiers may be shared with our third-party service providers as described below.
We may collect information about how you interact with the App, such as:
App launch frequency and duration.
Features accessed (e.g., specific floral styles chosen).
Generation counts (to manage free and pro quotas).
To provide our flower arrangement generation service, the App requires access to your device's camera and photo library.
Scanning: When you take a photo of flowers, the image is processed to identify flower types.
Uploads: Images you choose to analyze are sent to our AI processing partners (see "AI and Third Party Services" below).
Local Storage: Your original images and generated concepts are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share them externally.
PetalPerfect uses advanced AI models (such as Google's Gemini models via the OpenRouter API) to identify flowers and generate bouquet concepts.
Data Shared: When you generate a design, the image of your flowers is transmitted to OpenRouter/AI providers for analysis.
Purpose: This is strictly to provide the core functionality of the App (detecting flowers and suggesting arrangements).
We use Apple’s StoreKit and secondary frameworks like RevenueCat to manage "Pro" subscriptions.
Pro-members' generation counts are tracked locally and via these services to enforce monthly quotas.
We do not store your credit card or financial information; all payments are handled securely by Apple.
We use the information collected for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain the App's functionality.
To manage your subscription status and generation quotas.
To improve our AI models' flower detection accuracy (via anonymized feedback loops where applicable).
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues.
Local Data: Most of your design data is stored locally on your device via SwiftData. You can delete this data at any time through the "Delete Profile Data" option in the App's settings.
AI Processing: Images sent for AI analysis are typically processed in real-time. We do not maintain a permanent server-side database of your flower photos linked to your identity.
The security of your data is important to us. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We utilize standard iOS encryption and secure API communication (HTTPS) to protect your data.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
Access and Portability: You can view your saved designs within the App.
Deletion: You can use the "Delete Profile Data" button in the Profile section to wipe all local history and saved arrangements.
Camera Access: You can revoke camera or photo library permissions at any time via your device's System Settings.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
