IEEE PES hosted an eminent Lecture on the title" Stability Modelling and analysis of converter-driven power system by Prof. Bikash Pal on 24 August 2025 on WebEx platform.

Distinguish Lecture @ IIT Indore

An one-day workshop was organized by IEEE PES Madhya Pradesh Chapter, in collaboration with IEEE Student Branch, IIT Indore on "Smart Power Flow Controllers: A Necessity for Future Power Grid" by IEEE Distinguished Lecturer Dr. Kalyan K. Sen in physical mode at IIT Indore. This event has seen active participation of 50 professional from Academia, Industry, and Utility.

Expert Talk over WebEx

Our Chapter has organised an expert talk on the topic, "Indian Electricity Grid Code 2023: Regulatory Provisions for Integration of RE Resources", on July 8, 2023 over WebEx. This expert talk was delivered by Mr. Rahul Shukla, Chief Manager (Power System Reliability & Regulatory Affairs), National Load Dispatch Center, New Delhi.

An expert talk on "Energy Market in India: Emerging Megatrends", was organised on May 22, 2023 over WebEx. Our expert for this talk was Ms. S. Usha, Chief General Manager, WRLDC Mumbai, Grid-India. In this talk she shared the growth story of Indian power sector.

PES Leadership Meet

During the Global PES Leaders Meet at IIITM Gwalior, executive committee members of our chapter got an opportunity to interact and discuss various aspects of PES volunteering from Ms. Jessica Bian, PES President (2022-23), Dr. Ramakrishna, Region-10 Representative, and Dr. S. N. Singh, R10(West) PES Chapters Coordinator.

PES Talk @ MITS Gwalior

Under the membership development activity, IEEE PES Madhya Pradesh Chapter organized a talk on April 21, 2023. This talk entitled, "From a Degree Holder to a True Professional", was organized in collaboration with MITS Gwalior, and delivered by Mr. Vineeth V., Laison, IEEE PES Global Student Chapters Committee.

Membership Drive @ MITS Gwalior

A membership drive is organiszd at MITS Gwalior. A faculty interaction session was organized where executive committee of the PES Madhya Pradesh Chapter interacted with the faculty members of MITS Gwalior. During the session, the faculty members shared their experiences and challenges related to their professional development and discussed the role of IEEE PES in supporting their growth. The Executive committee shared their insights and provided guidance on various topics related to professional development

PES Talk @ MITS Gwalior

The IEEE PES Madhya Pradesh Chapter organized a talk on April 21, 2023 at MITS Gwalior. Dr. Boby Philips, Secretary IEEE PES Kerala Chapter delivered his talk on "The Art of Professional Volunteering through IEEE PES", where He spoke about the various support provided by IEEE PES in the form of scholarships, travel grants, technical competitions, job referrals, etc.

Workshop @ PDPM - IIITDM Jabalpur

A national workshop on Distribution Transformer Monitoring and Failure Analysis (DFAM) has been organized on January 10, 2023 by IIITDM Jabalpur in collaboration with PES Madhya Pradesh Chapter. This workshop allowed researchers, students, and utility personnel to interact, and analyze the issues pertaining to distribution transformers. An informative discussion provided over, how effective monitoring and analysis of these transformers, can significantly reduce these problems.
