Information Collection and Use

You sign into the app using your phone number and an OTP code that is sent to your phone number. We collect your phone number which will be used as your user id so that the app's functionalities are personalized to your M-PESA account. We also collect your M-PESA messages which are used to analyze your M-PESA transactions. The collected information only interacts with the app, no one has a direct access to it and therefore no one will access your collected data. When you log into the app for the first time, you will be prompted to give the app SMS Read permissions. Be sure to grant to the app this permission for it will help the app perform its core functionality which is analyzing your M-PESA messages and showing you a simplified record of your transactions.

We collect no other information.

When you try to download a pdf or csv transactions record, the app asks you for STORAGE read and write permissions. However your stored data is not collected, the app asks you for this permission so that it can write into the storage the 'pdf' and 'csv' transaction record files you will download.

Information Sharing

The collected phone number and sms messages are shared with no one.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. 

Children's Privacy

This Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. A child however might have a sim card registered under his parent's National ID card. In that case, if the child downloads this app it will mean that he/she wants to analyze his/her M-PESA transactions. While the app only collects the phone number and M-PESA mesages, if the parent is not comfortable with his/her child having this app, he/she can uninstall the app and contact us for the speedy removal of the app's details from our servers. We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
