Get Ready for a Fun Spring Cleanup!

We're so excited to invite you to join this art exhibit creation / community clean up project.. It will be an afternoon of seriously creative celebration of trash at the Potowatomie Forest Preserve along Milwaukee Ave. We are meeting up at the Stavros Law Parking Lot located at 433 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling, IL . We'll be kicking off the day with trash bags, clean up tools and roaming through the woods as a group, so please plan your day accordingly and dress appropriately.
NOTE: There are burrs in the underbrush, so wear comfy clothes which you don't mind getting dirty. 

Artist Barb Sorensen is our MC for the day along with Dawn of the Cleanup-Giveback organization. We will be getting things started with a few announcements and some guidance.
We'll have some snacks and water bottles available while you get into the creative spirit with trash and collecting it. 
Let's see what fun stuff we can find and the interesting ways nature interacts with it.

Don't forget to bring your outdoor work shoes.

• Note, this cleanup-giveback will be videotaped and you may be photographed as part of the cleanup for the art exhibit.  If you are not comfortable with being in pictures and videos, please let us know in advance. All participants in the videos and pictures will be asked to sign a release agreement.
