These four tiles represent the four seasons. They were made using the same technique as spin painting.
These two pieces were but thrown on the wheel but, they both had some mishaps. Although they didn't go as planned, I I really enjoyed the way they came together in the end. I took a chance with these by trying a new crackle glaze and ink technique that I'd never used before.
Here are two other lidded containers that have the crackle glaze and ink.
This piece was more of a way to test how certain glazes react to different textures. After I saw its final glazing I immediately loved it. The way the colors match perfectly and they have an earthy tone to them led me to come up with the name.
This piece has an ombre effect that gives the effect of leaves changing, like they do in the fall.
This is one of my favorite pieces. This year I really got into the wavy organic look and decided to try it on a chip and dip bowl. I love the way it turned out and it remminds me of a Tostitos Scoop chip.
This was another test to see how and black and a white glaze would react to each other. It turned out so much better than thought and it is very asthetic to me.
