Our nation is in need of healing: healing from our racial division, healing from bigotry and oppression, and healing from fear.
With the help of this project:
Students will explore how they can start the process toward conflict resolution and lasting peace in a time of tension and turmoil.
As they investigate the origins and effects of our nation’s history, they will do their part to change the narrative. They will unpack the meaning of privilege, deconstruct the myth of power, and listen and understand diverse perspectives.
Find your inspiration. You can do that by asking yourself these questions on the environment:
What is it that I am interested to explore in something as vast as humanity?
What power lies in demographics?
Could certain things that partook in history have been prevented?
How to understand a perspective that is different from your own?
