1. 100% Local Processing (Zero Cloud)

 Personal Knowledge Index is designed with a strictly on-device architecture. All data processing, AI inferences, and vector database generation occur entirely on your local hardware. We do not use cloud servers to process or store your personal data.

2. Data Collection and Storage

 We do not collect, transmit, share, or sell any of your personal data, documents, or search queries. All indexed documents, OCR data, and search history remain securely sandboxed within the app's local storage directory on your device.

3. Device Permissions

 The app requires access to your device's local storage (files, documents, and media) strictly for the purpose of reading and indexing the files you choose to import. These files are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded, backed up, or transmitted to any external server.

4. Third-Party API Keys (Bring Your Own Key)

 If you provide your own API key to use external AI models, that key is saved securely and locally on your device. It is only ever transmitted directly to the official API provider to process your requests. Your API keys are never sent to, logged by, or visible to Rezukhie Labs.

5. AI Search Intelligence (How AI is Used)

 While your documents and files are stored 100% locally, the app uses external AI (such as Google Gemini) strictly to understand and expand your search queries. Crucially, your personal files and documents are never sent to the AI or the cloud. Only the specific keywords you enter into the memory search bar are sent to the AI provider to enhance your search results.

6. Analytics and Telemetry

 We do not integrate any third-party tracking, crash reporting, or usage analytics SDKs. Your app usage and click behaviors are completely untracked by the developer.

7. Data Deletion

 Because all data is stored locally, you maintain complete control. You can permanently erase your search history, cache, and vector database at any time using the data management tools provided within the app's Settings menu. Uninstalling the app will also permanently delete all associated data.
