Personal AI Tutor is an educational mobile app that helps students get instant homework answers using AI.

We take your privacy very seriously. This policy explains exactly what happens with your data.

2. Information We Collect

• Photos of homework/questions you take or upload

• Text questions you type in the app

• Messages you send to our support email (argonpatel834@gmail.com)

We do NOT collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account

• Precise location

• Contacts, photos library, or anything else

3. How We Use Your Information

When you scan or type a question:

→ The image/text is sent securely to our AI servers

→ The AI generates a step-by-step answer

→ The image and question are permanently deleted within seconds after the answer is sent back to your phone

We keep nothing from your homework.

4. YouTube Videos

The app shows educational YouTube videos using YouTube’s official embedded player.

Google/YouTube’s privacy policy applies only while you watch videos:

5. Third-Party AI Providers

We use trusted AI services (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini) to create answers.

These providers are contractually forbidden to store or reuse your questions.

6. Analytics & Crash Reports

We only use Apple’s built-in, completely anonymized analytics and crash logs to make the app more stable. No personal data is included.

7. Data Retention

• Scanned photos and typed questions → deleted immediately after processing

• Anonymous crash logs → kept maximum 90 days

8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

The app is safe for students of all ages, including children under 13.

Because we delete everything instantly and never ask for personal information, we comply with COPPA and similar laws.

9. Your Rights

Since we don’t store anything, there is no data to delete or export.

All communication uses strong encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Images are processed in memory and never saved to disk.
