This area is primarily aimed at primary or early years secondary who are looking for microbit training or resources for practical computing ideas in their schools.
There are a myriad of ways of teaching CS in fun, creative and unplugged fashion and many good resource sites exist. Good starting point include the NCCE (and their resource site teachcomputing.org) and Computing at Schools. For physical computing, we like the microbit, as part of a wider curriculum, for its ease of use and its hands on possibilities.
Here we focus on microbit training and resources. Primary schools in the Cambridge area are encouraged to make contact with us if you'd like some training sessions for staff. Due to some generous sponsorship we are currently also able to offer class sets of equipment to 2 primary schools in the Cambridge locality each year so do let us know if you might want to be considered for upcoming years.
Please explore the resources available here: forgive us where it is rough and ready but do get in touch where we can help you further to take these ideas into the classroom.
