PerPay Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 24, 2026. This policy covers the PerPay Android app, package com.perpay.app.
Who we are PerPay is a demonstration shopping app. It shows sample products, sample prices, and sample pay-over-time figures. It is not a bank, lender, credit bureau, or payment processor. It does not open an account, approve credit, charge a card, or ship an order.
Information stored on your device The app keeps information in private storage on the phone. PerPay does not run an account server, so this information is not uploaded to us. That includes a profile you can edit (first name, last name, email, and phone; a sample profile is shown if none is saved), shipping details typed at checkout (name, street, city, state, postal code, and phone), shopping activity (cart, favorites, searches, demo orders, and demo payment schedules), settings (dark mode, the in-app notification switch, and USD or EUR), and sample spending figures. Those figures are not a credit file, a loan, or a bank balance.
Information the app does not collect The app does not ask for a password or sign-in. It does not ask for a card number, bank login, payroll login, Social Security number, or government ID. It does not access location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, SMS, or an advertising ID. It does not include advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting tools. Android backup for this app is turned off.
Product images Product photos load over HTTPS from public image hosts. Those hosts receive ordinary connection data for the request, such as an IP address and a standard request header. PerPay does not receive or store that connection data. PerPay does not sell personal information and does not share your profile, address, cart, or orders.
How information is used On-device information is used only to run the demo: show a name, keep the cart and favorites, show a sample checkout, and remember settings. It is not used for advertising, credit decisions, or profiling.
Permissions The only Android permission is Internet, so product photos can load. The app does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, storage, or system notification permission.
Children PerPay is not directed at children under 13 and is not a kids app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security Profile and shopping data stay in the app’s private storage. Image requests use HTTPS. The app does not allow cleartext traffic.
Retention and deletion Data stays on the device until you edit it, clear the app’s storage in Android settings, or uninstall PerPay. Uninstalling deletes the local profile, cart, orders, and settings. There is no online account to delete.
Changes If this policy changes, the new text will appear in the app under Profile, then Privacy Policy, and on the public page linked from the Play listing. The effective date will change.
