AuraaByte ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Permission Manager: App Privacy mobile application (the "Application" or "Service").
Your privacy is our top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how our Application handles your information, what data is accessed, and how we protect your personal privacy.
Permission Manager: App Privacy does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personally identifiable information (PII). All operations and evaluations occur locally on your device.
A. Installed Applications and Permissions Analysis
To provide our core service—detecting app permissions, identifying security risks, and helping you audit installed packages—the Application queries the list of installed applications and their declared Android permissions.
Processing: This data is processed in real time purely on your device.
Storage & Transmission: None of your installed app lists or permission usage records are sent to external servers or third parties.
B. Network Security Auditing
The Application includes features to check local network configurations, such as SSL certificates and DNS settings.
This inspection is run locally to alert you to insecure network connections.
No network traffic, browsing history, or packet payloads are logged, recorded, or transmitted.
C. Device Information
The Application may read hardware and operating system parameters (such as Android OS version, device model, and system architecture) solely to display device statistics to you and ensure technical compatibility. This information never leaves your device.
To deliver the advertised features, the Application may request the following runtime or special permissions:
Query All Packages (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES): Required to list installed and system applications so you can review their permissions and revoke unnecessary ones.
Network State / Wi-Fi State (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE / ACCESS_WIFI_STATE): Required to evaluate current network connection parameters (e.g., DNS, SSL connection status).
Usage Access / Notification Access (Optional): If enabled by you, this is used strictly within the app to monitor foreground app transitions and alert you to real-time permission access.
We only request permissions that are strictly necessary to deliver these features.
No Advertisements: Permission Manager: App Privacy contains no third-party advertisements.
No Analytics Trackers: We do not embed behavioral analytics frameworks or user-tracking SDKs.
Local Storage Only: Any preferences, scan histories, or whitelists you configure are stored locally on your device’s internal sandbox storage. Uninstalling the Application permanently removes all associated data.
Security Standards: Because we do not transfer your personal data across the internet, the risk of data interception or server-side breach is minimized.
Our Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take necessary actions.
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. You are advised to review this document regularly for any updates. Any changes are effective immediately upon publishing the updated policy within the app or on our distribution platforms.
