Our previous study with the Omega Ensemble used automatic pose estimation algorithms to quantify musical ensemble coordination in concert videos.

In a new study published in PLOS ONE, we investigate how leadership dynamics are influenced by musical texture—specifically whether there is a clear distinction between melody and accompaniment parts or whether melodic material is distributed across parts.
