Footnotes Performance Groups

General Notes about Competition:

• Technique classes are required for jazz, lyrical or contemporary performance groups.

• Auditions required

• A performer’s age is determined by their age as of January 1st, 2025.

• Studio directors must be prepared to present birth certificates should a protest arise. (I encourage dancers to have a valid ID with date of birth or birth certificate in dance bag)

• ABSOLUTELY NO personal videography or photography is permitted during a performance. Failure to abide by these rules may result in disqualification, competitions reserves the right to have anyone violating this rule removed from the facility. 

• No public posting (social media) of dances not owned by you or your dancer

• All public performances must be approved by Footnotes Studio of Dance
