I will regularly update notes on clients here so you have an idea where your flowers are in my timeline. Please note, it's normal to not hear from me for several months while your flowers press and then await reconstruction. Rest assured your flowers are perfect and safe, just waiting their turn for reconstruction. I press almost every single petal of your flowers individually. Each petal is then glued one at a time to form your flowers again in a very careful and detailed process. Unfortunately, most of my correspondence with you happens towards the end of the 6 month process during designing (the fun part!). Please keep in mind, right now I am only person that handles every detail to make your frame perfect. I take my time with every client while also caring for my young family. I'm so thankful for your trust and patience and can't wait to get your flowers back to their forever home!
Pressing--Reconstructing--Correcting--Designing--Final Gluing
Pressing: petals are in the press for at least 8 weeks for a preserved press
Reconstructing: your petals have been taken out of the press and are being glued together one by one to form your flowers again
Correcting: the color of your flowers are being touched up or enhanced for longevity--typical for whites, pinks or older/wilted flowers
Designing: your flowers are being arranged in mock design layouts to present to you to pick your favorite. Designs can be edited at your request. Flower placement is a general mock-up and the final glued design may vary slightly. I start with your design preferences and may add in any design I feel suits your flowers best to give you options
Final gluing: you reviewed your suggested designs and picked your favorite! Your flowers are being glued on glass or mat to be framed. I finalize with photos and package up your frame to go home!
