Concrete is stable and rigid, but plywood naturally has slight movement when walked on. Because of this, using standard thin-set or mortar — the kind designed for concrete — is not suitable for upper-floor bathrooms. Instead, we use a flexible mortar that can absorb minor movement without cracking or loosening tiles over time. The same principle applies to the grout: in bathrooms with plywood subfloors, we use a flexible grout containing silicone to allow for small shifts without causing tile cracks or displacement. This level of material knowledge ensures that your tile installation remains strong, stable, and beautiful for many years, regardless of the type of subfloor. 

Unlike many low-cost contractors who disappear once the job is done, we stand behind our work. We offer a six-month limited warranty on the bathroom remodels we complete. If any issue arises within this period, we return to address and fix the problem promptly and professionally.
