We welcome contributions and perspectives on (but not limited to):
Multi-user identification & behavioral sensing
– Gait, posture, gestures, gaze, physiological or environmental sensing
Social & contextual dynamics in shared environments
– Collaboration, coordination, competition, attention, bystanders
Balancing personalization vs. collective experience
– Negotiating conflicting preferences, visibility, and priorities
Ethics, inclusion, and privacy-aware design of smart spaces
– Transparency of sensing, bystander rights, accessibility, equity
Emerging modalities & platforms
– XR, CAVEs, robotics, multi-display environments, smart homes, classrooms, public spaces
We invite interested participants to submit either a short motivation statement (300–500 words) or a 1–2 page position paper outlining their prior work, perspective, or research interest related to multi-user immersive smart spaces. Submissions will be reviewed for relevance, diversity of viewpoints, and potential to foster rich discussion. Participants who wish to give a lightning talk may also include a brief abstract. Accepted participants will be contacted with further details and asked about any accessibility needs to ensure an inclusive workshop experience.
