Cottage Cheese Pasta is one of the most suprosing Hungarian dish for foreigners, however, it is one of the most popular comfort food in Hungary. Excellent after soups.Â
Instructions:
Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente, then drain.
Finely chop the smoked bacon into small cubes and fry until crispy. Pour the rendered fat over the pasta and mix well. Season with salt, then crumble the cottage cheese over the top.
When serving, sprinkle the crispy bacon bits over the cottage cheese and sour cream-covered pasta.

35 dkg curly pasta (12.3 oz)
25 dkg cottage cheese (8.8 oz)
15 dkg smoked bacon, finely chopped (5.3 oz)
2-3 dl sour cream (0.8-1.2 cups)
