In addition to on–ward treatment, Penuel Ashram offers a variety of off–ward treatment, recreation, and programs. Alternate treatment environments are available to address the needs of our patients.

  1. Centralized Treatment Programs provide a variety of active treatment options prescribed by a qualified Psychiatrist.

  2. Recovery Program offers group sessions aimed at helping patients acquire the skills needed to become ready for discharge and function successfully in the community. A model community setting assists patients in community living preparation. The program is monitored by a qualified Clinical psychologist and managed by expert counselors and social workers.

  3. Vocational Rehabilitation Programs include treatment, work adjustment, and job skill training in various skills.

  4. The eco-friendly environment consisting of well apportioned buildings and surrounding gardens where patients have the opportunity to participate in horticulture therapy.

  5. To make the addict, drug-free, crime-free, income generating, thus a productive citizen within the parameters of community based rehabilitation.

  4. To conduct De-addiction camps for Alcohol and Drug addicts.

  5. To educate the community about the evils of substance abuse, addictions and diseases.

  6. To fight against evils like abortion, suicide, extortion etc.

  7. To promote a new culture of sharing and love.

  8. To care for and rehabilitate the least, lost and last and revive them through tender love and paternal care.

  9. Free food and shelter for vagabonds and needy people.

  10. Spiritual programs like retreats at parishes, schools and colleges.

  11. Bible study classes and seminars for small groups.

  12. Visits by the specially trained volunteers to prisons, slums and colonies of the poor, to listen, to their woes and make them experience the presence of the Loving God, and to conduct prayer sessions with them and for them.

  13. Temperance programs for school and college students through K.C.B.C.Madyaviudha Samithi and SCCAD (Students Club Against Alcohol And Drugs) and for the common people through the various pious associations under the parish church.
