Pentrix is designed to collect and process only the information reasonably necessary to provide its game features, Global Leaderboard, optional Challenges and Special Events, account-related functionality, purchases, and support.
Pentrix stores certain game information locally on your device. This may include:
• Your current game and gameplay state
• Local score history
• All-Time and 30-Day score information
• Your Pentrix player name and local player information
• Sound, vibration, and other game preferences
• Scores or other eligible information waiting to synchronize while you are offline
• Information needed to remember certain in-app feature states
This locally stored information generally remains on your device unless a feature requires it to be synchronized with an online service such as Apple CloudKit.
Deleting Pentrix from your device removes locally stored Pentrix app data from that device. Information previously synchronized with online services may be retained separately as described below.
Participation in the Pentrix Global Leaderboard uses Apple CloudKit.
If you participate in the Global Leaderboard, Pentrix may store information including:
• Your chosen Pentrix player name
• A CloudKit-associated player identifier
• Scores submitted to the Global Leaderboard
• Dates and timestamps associated with submitted scores
Your Pentrix player name, ranking, and applicable leaderboard scores may be visible to other Pentrix players through the Global Leaderboard.
Pentrix does not receive your Apple ID password or iCloud password.
Pentrix may offer optional Challenges and Special Events that operate separately from the main Global Leaderboard.
If you choose to join a Challenge, Pentrix may process information including:
• Your Pentrix player name and player identifier
• The Challenge you joined
• Your Challenge scores and rankings
• The version of the Official Rules you accepted
• The date and time you joined or accepted applicable terms
• The email address you voluntarily provide for Challenge participation
• Email verification status and related verification information
Challenge email addresses are used for purposes such as:
• Verifying that you have access to the email address provided
• Confirming and administering Challenge participation
• Preventing duplicate, unauthorized, or fraudulent entries
• Contacting provisional winners
• Administering and delivering prizes
• Responding to Challenge-related support requests
• Maintaining records reasonably necessary to administer Challenges
Your email address is not displayed on public Pentrix leaderboards.
Challenge participation and public Challenge rankings may identify your Pentrix player name as participating in a Challenge without publicly revealing your email address.
Each Challenge may have separate eligibility requirements, dates, prizes, and Official Rules. Those rules are presented separately where applicable.
When you join a Challenge that requires email verification, Pentrix sends a verification code to the email address you provide.
Pentrix currently uses backend infrastructure including Cloudflare services to process verification requests and help prevent abuse. Verification-related records may include cryptographic or hashed representations of information used to validate requests, enforce limits, prevent duplicate entries, and authorize Challenge enrollment.
Pentrix also uses Google services, including Google Apps Script and Gmail, to deliver verification emails. The email address you provide must therefore be transmitted to the email-delivery service for the purpose of sending the requested verification message.
Verification codes expire after a limited period and are intended only to confirm access to the email address provided.
Do not provide an email address that you do not own or are not authorized to use.
Pentrix may offer optional paid features, including a Pentrix Pro subscription.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Pentrix does not receive or store your full payment card number, Apple ID password, or other payment credentials.
Pentrix may receive information from Apple necessary to determine whether an in-app purchase or subscription is valid, active, expired, revoked, or otherwise entitled to access applicable features.
Subscription prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and other purchase information are displayed through the App Store and within the applicable purchase interface. Prices may vary by country or region.
If Pentrix Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, it will renew according to the terms presented by Apple at the time of purchase unless canceled through your Apple account subscription settings.
Pentrix can be played without participating in the Global Leaderboard or optional Challenges.
If iCloud is unavailable, core offline gameplay remains available, although features that depend on CloudKit or other online services may be unavailable until connectivity or the required service becomes available.
If eligible locally stored information is waiting to synchronize, Pentrix may attempt to synchronize it when the required online service becomes available.
Pentrix does not contain third-party advertising.
Pentrix does not use third-party analytics for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Pentrix does not use Challenge email addresses for advertising.
Pentrix does not sell personal information.
Pentrix does not use personal information for cross-app tracking.
Pentrix relies on service providers to operate certain features. Depending on the feature you use, information may be processed by:
• Apple, including CloudKit, the App Store, and StoreKit
• Cloudflare, for backend infrastructure supporting email verification and related security functions
• Google, including Google Apps Script and Gmail, for delivery of requested verification emails
These providers process information according to their respective terms and privacy practices.
Pentrix uses reasonable technical measures designed to limit unnecessary exposure of personal information.
Challenge email information is not included in public leaderboard records. Verification infrastructure may use cryptographic hashing, expiring verification codes, limited-use verification credentials, rate limiting, and other safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized or abusive use.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Locally stored game data generally remains on your device until it is removed during normal app use, replaced, reset, or the app is deleted.
Information synchronized with Apple CloudKit or other backend services is separate from local app data and is not necessarily deleted when Pentrix is removed from your device.
Challenge-related information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:
• Administer an active or completed Challenge
• Verify entries and determine winners
• Deliver or document prizes
• Prevent duplicate or fraudulent participation
• Resolve disputes or support requests
• Meet applicable legal, accounting, or administrative requirements
Information that is no longer reasonably required may be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise handled according to applicable requirements.

Certain information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary to administer completed Challenges, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, document prize fulfillment, or comply with applicable requirements.
Pentrix does not knowingly request personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Certain Challenges, prizes, or paid features may have additional age or eligibility requirements specified in their applicable rules or App Store information.
Users should review the eligibility requirements for an individual Challenge before participating.
Online services used by Pentrix may process information in countries or regions other than the country or region where you live. This may include processing performed by Apple, Cloudflare, or Google as necessary to provide their respective services.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Pentrix features, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices change.
