A breakout performer in the individual medley, Barnes has emerged as a dependable contributor across multiple strokes and relays. As a sophomore, he captured both Sectional and NIC titles in the 200 IM and played a key role on Penn’s championship 400 Freestyle Relay. A multi-time All-Conference honoree, Barnes has helped power Penn to two straight NIC and Sectional team titles and continues to develop as a versatile force in the lineup.
