This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in Penguin Slide (the “App”).
Penguin Slide is a puzzle game. Core gameplay can be played offline and without creating an account. The optional Booster Shop requires Google Play and an internet connection to load products and complete purchases.
The App does not ask you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, phone contacts, photos, or account details. The App does not directly collect or store your payment card details; payments are handled by Google Play.
The App stores limited game and shop information locally on your device so gameplay progress, booster inventory, and local purchase history can be saved. This may include:
Last played level
Unlocked levels
Stars earned
Hint count
Undo count
Purchased booster pack product ID
Undo and Hint quantities granted
Display price shown for the purchase
Local purchase timestamp
Processed purchase token hash or similar duplicate-processing metadata
This locally stored information is used only to support gameplay, booster inventory, local purchase history, and local purchase-processing safeguards on your device. These safeguards help the App restore booster inventory after app relaunch, show local booster purchase history, prevent the same completed purchase from granting boosters more than once, and retry local purchase handling if needed.
The local purchase history shown in the App is for gameplay and booster-tracking purposes only. It is not an official receipt ledger.
The developer does not receive, upload, or store this local game progress, booster inventory, local purchase history, or purchase-processing metadata on a developer-operated server.
Penguin Slide offers optional digital booster packs as in-app purchases.
All purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Google Play manages the purchase flow, payment methods, payment confirmation, regional pricing, taxes, refund requests, and related transaction processing.
Google Play may provide the App with limited purchase status information, such as whether a purchase was completed, pending, canceled, or failed, so the App can grant boosters and prevent duplicate grants.
The App does not directly collect or store your payment card number, bank details, or Google account payment credentials. Payment information is handled by Google Play according to Google’s own policies.
Booster packs are granted only after Google Play reports that a purchase has been completed and the App processes the completed purchase.
Pending, canceled, or failed purchases do not grant boosters.
The App does not request special runtime permissions from the user.
The App declares the Google Play Billing permission:
com.android.vending.BILLING
This permission is used only to support optional in-app purchases through Google Play.
Game progress, booster inventory, local purchase history, and purchase-processing metadata are stored locally on your device using Android app storage.
The App does not send, upload, or transmit your local game progress, booster inventory, local purchase history, or purchase-processing metadata to the developer or to a developer-operated server.
Android may automatically back up app data as part of the device’s backup and restore features, depending on your device settings and Google account backup settings. If backup is enabled, your saved game progress, booster inventory, and local purchase history may be restored when you reinstall the App or move to a new device.
The developer does not have access to your locally stored or Android-backed-up game data. Backup and restore are handled by the Android operating system and your Google account settings.
You can remove locally stored App data at any time by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App. Android system backups can also be managed in your device settings.
The developer does not sell user data.
The developer does not operate developer servers for this App and does not collect, upload, sell, or share your local game progress, booster inventory, local purchase history, or purchase-processing metadata.
The App does not use:
Advertising services
Analytics services
Crash reporting services
Tracking technologies
Third-party login services
When you choose to make an in-app purchase, Google Play may process purchase-related information as necessary to complete and manage the transaction. This purchase processing is handled by Google Play, not by a developer-operated server.
If Android backup is enabled on your device, backup and restore may be handled by Android and your Google account settings, not by the developer.
Penguin Slide is designed to be simple and family-friendly.
The App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children or any other users. The App does not include ads, accounts, chat, or developer-operated online services.
Optional in-app purchases are processed by Google Play. Parents and guardians can manage purchase controls, authentication, and family settings through Google Play and device settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App or on the store listing with an updated “Last Updated” date.
