Scholastic Art & Writing
The Scholastic Awards are the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens, and a large source of scholarships for young artists and writers in the United States and Canada. Teens in grades 7-12, 13 years or older, are eligible to enter their original Art and/or Writing work for a chance at recognition, publication, exhibition and more. New York City students who enter can receive a Regional Award (Gold Key, Silver Key and Honorable Mention). Award-winning students are celebrated during the NYC Regional Art Award Ceremony in March. Gold Key works will be exhibited in the annual New York City Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in March.
