📜 Official Pen Fight Rules📜Â
📜 Official Pen Fight Rules📜Â
 1. Equipment Rules
Only real pens are allowed (ballpoint, gel, ink, fountain, etc.).
Pens can have grips, rubber parts, and metal bodies — all are allowed.
Customization is banned — you must use the pen as it was originally made (no taping, adding weights, or modifications).
No pencils, sticks, fake objects, or disguised weapons allowed.
No "multi-pen monsters" — connecting two or more pens together is banned.
2. Setup Rules
Play on a flat, hard surface like a desk or table.
Players must place their pen either in the middle or at the corner of their own side of the table.
3. Flicking Rules
Players must take turns flicking — no flicking out of turn.
Flicks are infinite — the match continues until one pen falls off (no flick limit per match, only one flick per turn).
Flicking must be done using only your finger, preferably using your nail to strike the pen.
A single touch of the nail to the pen counts as one turn.
Only one flick per turn is allowed — no double flicks.
You cannot touch the opponent’s pen or the table with your hand or body before flicking.
No pushing the table, shaking it, or blowing air to move pens.
Special Rule: First Flick Rule
On the first flick of the match, you are NOT allowed to knock the opponent’s pen off the table.
If a player knocks the pen off on the first flick, they will receive:
1 penalty point (opponent gains a point).
Opponent gets the next turn immediately.
4. Out of Bounds (Edge) Rule
If a pen hangs halfway off the table but doesn’t fall, the match continues.
You can still try to flick it off on your next turn.
5. Winning Rules
You win if you knock the opponent’s pen off the table (after the first flick).
If both pens fall off at the same time, it is considered a draw, and a rematch is played.
6. Special Match Types (Optional Fun Modes)
Match Type Description
1v1 Duel Standard match (Best of 3 or 5)
Battle Royal 3 - 8 players, last pen standing wins
Pen tag Teams of 2, alternate flicks
Speed Round 5 - 10 seconds max to flick each turns (Fast Thinking)
7. Respect and Sportsmanship
After every match, players must tap pens together once, like a handshake (similar to chess players).
Matches are played in a "Best of 3" or "Best of 5" format to decide the final winner.
If a player keeps winning without losing a single round, they earn the special title: "Flawless Victory" Champion
Â
8. Freestyle Mode (Optional)
Â
In Freestyle Mode, players can create and agree upon custom rules before the match begins.
All players must agree clearly to the new rules before starting.
Freestyle matches can modify or ignore any standard rules (example: using two flicks per turn, larger tables, special obstacles, etc.).
If no agreement is made on a rule, the Official Pen Fight Rules apply by default.
Freestyle matches are for fun and experimentation and do not affect official rankings or Flawless Victory titles.
Â
# Rank Progression System
There will be ranks classified as follows:
E-Rank to D-Rank: 3 Flawless Wins
D-Rank to C-Rank: 5 Flawless Wins
C-Rank to B-Rank: 7 Flawless Wins
B-Rank to A-Rank: 10 Flawless Wins
A-Rank to S-Rank: 15 Flawless Wins
Â
Leveling Up
Â
Players can level up only by winning flawless victories.
         Example:
o If an E-Rank player wins 3 flawless matches, they will promote to D-Rank.
Â
o If an A-Rank player wins 15 flawless matches, they will promote to S-Rank.
Rank Decrease for Losing
Â
The losing player will not experience any rank decrease unless they lose flawlessly (no rounds won).
         Example:
o If a C-Rank player loses completely (losing all rounds), they will decrease to D-Rank.
o If an A-Rank player loses completely (no rounds won), they will decrease to B-Rank.
No Rank Change for Regular Wins or Losses
If a player does not achieve a flawless victory (meaning they win or lose with some rounds), their rank remains unchanged.
