KEMENTERIAN PENGAJIAN TINGGI
Simpang Renggam Community College was suggested to be built under the 4th Rolling Plan (RP4) of the 11th Malaysian Plan (RMK11) and being the 11th community college in the state of Johor.
The full time program that was suggested for KK Simpang Renggam is Certificate of Food Processing and Quality Control with the capacity of 180 students. Apart from this, the life long courses will also be offered to the community.
The establishment of the laboratories for the Food Processing and Quality Control program here should be based on the requirements of food safety assurance programs as warranted by the Ministry of Health Malaysia. Ideally, it should follow the certification of GMP or HACCP.
KK Simpang Renggam will be operating at shop lots building which will be renovated according to requirement of space such as:
