Objective

The Pell City Spirit Club exists to promote and support the Pell City School System Cheerleading Program through active participation of parents in programs and concentrated support activities, while adhering to the rules and regulations of the Pell City School System and the Alabama High School Athletic Association. The objectives of the organization are:

To engage in fundraising activities in order to provide aid in areas that might require assistance toward realizing the objectives of the PCSS Cheerleading Program
To assist Cheerleading Coach(es) and/or Sponsor(s) in carrying out the activities of the Cheerleading Program.
To pursue only those fundraising projects that are for the benefit of the Cheerleading Program.

Membership

Membership in the organization is open to all parents/guardians of current PCSS Cheerleaders and PCSS Varsity Cheer Alumni interested in promoting, supporting, and participating in the activities of the PCSS Cheerleading Program and fulfilling the objectives of the Spirit Club. Eligible adults can become members of the PCSC by submitting a member application annually.

Some of the areas where member involvement is needed includes:

- Homecoming

- Concessions

- Pep Rallies

- Egg My Yard

- Parade Floats

- Cheer Banquet

- Miscellaneous Fundraisers

- And More!

Transparency

Spirit Club budget, meeting minutes, and financial report documents are available on our website. We believe in keeping things open, so you know we're not just having fun raising money, but also see where the funds are going, what events are being planned, and how decisions are made. Parents and members can stay in the loop as we work together towards the best interests of our kids.
